Causes of unclear images detected by veterinary B-ultrasound.

The image clarity of the veterinary ultrasound machine has a lot to do with the price of the machine itself. Usually, the higher the price of the veterinary ultrasound machine, the clearer the image, the more functions, and the more convenient it is to use.

As an important equipment for pasture breeding, veterinary B-ultrasound is more and more popular because of its fast detection speed, less invasiveness and accurate detection results. The most important thing about the veterinary B-ultrasound machine is the clarity of the image, the image is not clear, and there are great obstacles in the detection of fetal development, single and twins, male and female, uterine inflammation, and ovarian cysts.
The main reasons for the unclear image detected by the veterinary B-ultrasound machine are as follows:
The image clarity of the veterinary ultrasound machine has a lot to do with the price of the machine itself. Usually, the higher the price of the veterinary ultrasound machine, the clearer the image, the more functions, and the more convenient it is to use.
The parameters of the veterinary ultrasound machine are not set correctly. Our commonly used parameters include gain, probe frequency, near field and far field, depth, etc. If these parameters are not set correctly, the image will be very blurred. If you do not understand these parameters, you can consult the manufacturer. To help you adjust, these parameters are generally set, no special adjustment is required.
If the above 2 points are excluded and the image is still unclear, then the main reason is that the operator’s operation is not standardized. The common problems are as follows:
There is a gap between the probe and the position to be inspected, and the probe is not pressed tightly during inspection, resulting in unclear images. When performing abdominal ultrasound testing on animals such as pigs and sheep, be sure to apply couplant on the probe, and shave the testing position if necessary. When performing rectal testing on animals such as cattle, horses, and donkeys, the probe should be pressed against the rectal wall. Air between the probe and the measured location can cause problems with ultrasonic penetration, resulting in unclear images.
If you are using a veterinary ultrasound machine with a mechanical probe, check whether there are large air bubbles in the probe. Generally, air bubbles the size of soybeans will affect the clarity of the image. At this time, contact the manufacturer to fill the probe with oil.
In addition, when using the veterinary B-ultrasound machine, be careful not to bump the probe, because once the probe is damaged, it can only be replaced and cannot be repaired.
